Our 6 year old son Lucas was run over by a car on Sunday, August 6, 2017 and suffered severe internal and external injuries. He was in PICU for 4 days, and in the hospital a total of 10 days. There are no words to describe what we've been through. What we do know is that we are and will be forever grateful to CHOC. Because of the amazing care Lucas received he will make a full recovery. We were blown away by every aspect of our stay at CHOC, from the level of medical care to the emotional support we received and everything in between. As a result, we are participating in CHOC Walk in just over a week, and we plan to do so every year. The CHOC Walk in the Park will be at the Disneyland Resort on August 27th to raise funds for CHOC Children's Hospital!
