I am so excited to be participating in the 2017 CHOC Walk in the Park at the Disneyland Resort on August 27th to raise funds for CHOC Children's Hospital! Three years ago; on July 22, 2014, we handed our 12 week old baby to the nurses and doctors of the CHOC Neurosurgery team to operate on her skull. We chose the amazing team at CHOC because they offered a less invasive option that the hospital closer to us did not. Our entire family was handled with such care, kindness, knowledge, and patience from consult to post op, that I will forever be in their debt. The fundraising efforts of the CHOC Walk make an immediate impact on families going through the most challenging time in their lives. CHOC provides the highest level of care not only to patients, but to the siblings, parents, and extended family that make up their critical support teams.
