I am so excited to be back and re-joining my team for our 5th year at CHOC Walk with a whole new reason for walking! Not only are we raising funds for CHOC Children's Hospital, but I am walking for my generous donor and his family, who donated his heart and liver to me just last September. Since I don't know my donor's name, only that he is a young male, I have nicknamed my donor Prince Phillip (because he saved Sleeping Beauty) and now my old team, Team Tiger, has become Prince Phillip's Tigers! Help us raise funds for CHOC and to honor Prince Phillip and his generous family for giving me a second chance at life! I wouldn't be here if it weren't for his generosity and the generosity of his loving family, who I hope to meet one day and express my gratitude in person. For now, I'll have to make do with honoring Prince Phillip and be the best hostess I can be, making sure that he feels at home in his new body.
