Walk with Wyatt for CHOC Children's!

Did you know that 1 in 100 children born in the US has a congenital heart defect? Did you know that there is currently no cure for CHD? This is why we walk with CHOC!
Wyatt had open heart surgery on May 2, 2017. He has Tetralogy of Fallot, which we found out about at my 20 week ultrasound. Lucky for us, we were immediately referred to CHOC CS Cardiology, where the amazing Dr. Doshi performed fetal echocardiograms until he was born. At 4 months old, our awesome heart surgeon, Dr. Gates, performed Wyatt's full TOF repair. It was the scariest moment of our lives to hand over our baby boy to the cardiac team, but we also knew that his little heart was in the best hands!
His journey is far from over. In the future, he will need a pulmonary valve replacement, which means he will have another open heart surgery at some point during his childhood. We hope that he will continue to be blessed with excellent health, free of other complications. We are so fortunate to have the best cardiac team in Orange County taking care of our little heart warrior!
Join us in raising funds for CHOC and spreading awareness! CHD claims more lives of children than all childhood cancers combined. Families dealing with
CHD go through so much to keep their children healthy. Frequent doctor visits, hospitalization, monitoring, surgeries and much more are constant struggles that heart warriors and their families have to endure. Your donation makes quality care possible for kids in Orange County and beyond!
Donate now or join us at CHOC's magical morning at the Disneyland® Resort. Every dollar counts for kids!
Many Thanks,
Sara and Wyatt
