I am so excited to be participating in the 2017 CHOC Walk in the Park at the Disneyland Resort on August 27th to raise funds for CHOC Children's Hospital! This past year I had to use CHOC services. I was watching my 3 year old granddaughter and she fell and hit her head on a table causing a gash on her forehead. We had to rush her to CHOC. They immediately took her in and stopped the bleeding. She had a concussion and then they had a wonderful way to calm a child down in order to do stitches. There staff was amazing and even spent time calming this frantic grandma!! I am so thankful for this hospital and wonderful/knowledgeable staff. And several days later I took her to Disneyland to celebrate her being a brave girl! In addition, the fundraising efforts of the CHOC Walk make an immediate impact on families going through the most challenging time in their lives. CHOC provides the highest level of care not only to patients, but to the siblings, parents, and extended family that make up their critical support teams.
