A little about Justin: Justin was born with Lissencephaly ARX, a rare brain disorder that, for Justin, brings seizures, chronic lung disease, and gastrointestinal complications requiring outpatient treatment and sometimes hospital stays at CHOC. CHOC has done an incredible job with keeping Justin stable and for being a support for the Helper family. No one really wants to go to the hospital, but CHOC is a warm, positive and inviting environment. For Justin and his family, CHOC is a home away from home. I am so excited to be participating in the 2017 CHOC Walk in the Park at the Disneyland Resort on August 27th to raise funds for CHOC Children's Hospital! The fundraising efforts of the CHOC Walk make an immediate impact on families going through the most challenging time in their lives. CHOC provides the highest level of care not only to patients, but to the siblings, parents, and extended family that make up their critical support teams.
