I am so excited to be participating in the 2017 CHOC Walk in the Park at the Disneyland Resort on August 27th to raise funds for CHOC Children's Hospital! The fundraising efforts of the CHOC Walk make an immediate impact on families going through the most challenging time in their lives. CHOC provides the highest level of care not only to patients, but to the siblings, parents, and extended family that make up their critical support teams. On October 2, 2015, my son Carter was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, forever changing our lives. We spent over 40 nights in the hospital during his first year of treatment. He will undergo treatment for three and a half years. Throughout his journey we have been so amazed by the treatment he has received at CHOC! He has never been afraid to go to CHOC and enjoys his time while thee despite the harsh chemo treatments and procedures he undergoes when there. We are SO thankful for the most amazing staff at CHOC and forever grateful for the treatment he receives there. We owe our son's life to CHOC and are so happy to participate in the CHOC Walk to show our support for this amazing hospital!
