In a few weeks, I will again be participating in the CHOC Walk as a member of Team Timmaree. I have known the Hicks family all my life. Timmaree was diagnosed with cancer when I was 3 months old. The first time I participated in Team Timmaree, my mom and dad pushed me in a stroller. I have continued walking every year since. Timmaree passed away when she was just nine years old. I want to help other kids, whether it is just a small injury or whether they are battling a life-threatening disease, by raising funds for Children's Hospital Orange County and continuing to walk in Timmaree's memory.
