Hi I am Hudson and I beat up CANCER. I will be walking in my 7th CHOC WALK in the Disneyland Park on August 27th to raise funds for CHOC Children's Hospital! It is such an honor for me to be the Captain of TEAM HHK. Our story is just one of the heart touching stories that you are reminded about when walking through Disneyland on the morning of the CHOC WALK. In March of 2011, I was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 15 months. With the amazing care that I received through the Children's Hospital of Orange County I successfully underwent multiple surgeries and 6 months of chemotherapy. CHOC not only took care of me but took care of our family by being patient, kind, understanding, and simply just being present for us. I am now proud to be 6 years Cancer Free. For the past 6 years CHOC has made every blood draw, office visit, transfusion, CT Scan, X-RAY, ultrasound, Chemo treatment, Infusion treatment, surgery as painless and smooth as can be. I love going for my check ups or appointments at CHOC. This event is an honor that I look forward to each year. Check out the video from the 2015 CHOC WALK below.
